What about people who can't read HTML email?
No problem. CoolerEmail has proprietary technology---when you send a CoolerEmail to somebody, CoolerEmail delivers the highest quality, perfectly formatted message that the person can read. If a person can't read HTML, they receive a great looking "plain-text" message. And, if you would like, you can always override the default to send HTML messages and just deliver a person a "plain-text" message even though the person may very well be able to read HTML (they may just happen to not want to).

How does it work? Can I upload my own HTML?
CoolerEmail is a fast and powerful system that allows you to BUILD, SEND and TRACK "cooler" emails. CoolerEmail provides all of the tools---you just type in your message! To build your first CoolerEmail:
- Take a test drive to set-up your account and login!
- At the "manage template" screen, simply choose a template and click one button to upload your banner!
- Then, use the templates to BUILD your CoolerEmail.
EXPERTS ONLY: If you like programming and would prefer to use your own HTML code for
your CoolerEmail, it easy to do. After you have completed your HTML, by clicking just one button on CoolerEmail, all of your HTML is uploaded! So, you have a choice, you can use our user-friendly templates to create HTML or upload your own!

How do I use templates?
Just pick a template and then type (or "cut and paste") your message. To include graphics or images, just use the "drop-down" menu to tell us where to find the graphics or images on your hard drive and we will upload them to the template for you!. Our templates are a super easy feature to use!

In addition to graphics and images, can I upload songs and movies?
Yes. You can upload almost any type of media that you will find on webpages (banners, logos, animated graphics, images, songs, audio files, flash files, etc.). If you are interested in providing "streaming media," CoolerEmail can handle that too!

How big should my banners, graphics and images be?
As far as pixels are concerned, your banner should be no wider than 600 pixels wide and no taller than 100 pixels; your graphics and images should generally be no wider than 150 pixels. All of your banners, graphics and images should be .jpg or .gif format and should be no larger than 110k.

If I'm sending HTML, do I also need to format a text version?
CoolerEmail does this for you! When you create your email with our templates, Text (and AOL) versions are automatically generated for you. When the email reaches your customer's inbox, the appropriate format is then delivered to them.

Can I upload my mailing list?
Yes. You can upload your mailing list. CoolerEmail has a mailing list "import" function that allows you to upload a list from Excel, Outlook, Act! or any other database program---once your list is in a "tab-delimited text file," CoolerEmail will import it for you. CoolerEmail's import speed is over 1,000 names per second (so, to import 25,000 names would take less than 25 seconds).

Can I have separate mailing lists?
Yes. You can have as many mailing lists as you would like. From your "master contacts list" you can also easily add (or remove) people from one or more of your mailing lists at any time.

Does CoolerEmail "filter" for duplicate addresses and invalid addresses?
Yes. CoolerEmail purges all duplicate email addresses from your list (so the same email address won't get more than one message) and advises you of invalid addresses (so you can delete the address or try to fix it). CoolerEmail also automatically adds people to your list who have subscribed and removes those who have unsubscribed---the whole list management process is automated for you!

Where is my email list stored?
Your email list is stored in a military-level encrypted database that resides on highly secure servers in a 24/7/365 protected environment. Our physical servers are protected by secure firewall systems from the industry leader and maintained by www.redwire.com.

How can I "grow" my list?
It's easy - you can add a "subscribe to our newsletter" feature to your website. We provide the code, you just cut and paste it into your website. Then, whenever people visiting your website click the "subscribe" button their name and contact information is added to you mailing list.

What information can I include in my "master contact list"?
CoolerEmail provides you with a very powerful utility for managing your master contact list--- it is a complete Customer Relationship (CRM) Package. You can include data such as Email Address, First Name, Last Name, City, State, Notes, etc. as well as up to 5 customizable fields. CoolerEmail collects information on visitors to your website on your behalf---you can get instant notifications every time somebody subscribes to your mailing list.

How do I actually send the message?
After you have built your message and previewed it (to make sure it looks perfect) you are ready to send some test messages (to yourself and maybe a few other people on your team). Simply type in their email address and press send. When you are ready to send the message to everybody on your mailing list, just click "broadcast."

Can the messages "personalized" (e.g., Dear Mary)?
Yes. Whether you are sending a CoolerEmail to 100 people or to 100,000, with "one-click" on your "manage template" page, your messages can easily be personalized.

Can I use CoolerEmail for third-party or rented lists?
You may use CoolerEmail for third-party or rented lists, if and ONLY if the list owner allows you to AND the recipients have "opted-in" to receive email from third-party sources.

What kind of tracking is available?
With CoolerEmail's Campaign Tracking, you have "real-time" access to reports and charts! You can see exactly who read your message and how many times they clicked through to your website---the reports show which people unsubscribed and which, if any, emails "bounced." In addition to the detailed reports, summary reports (with colorful charts) are available in "real-time" as well.

How can my member unsubscribe?
To unsubscribe, all a member needs to do is to scroll to the bottom of the email and click the "unsubscribe" link. They will tagged as having "unsubscribed" in your contact list manager and will not be emailed again.

Yes. Anybody who receives your CoolerEmail can simply click the "send to friend" button to forward your message on to one of their friends.
